Robert
DOWNEY JR.
In 1938, when he was 23 years old, Frank Sinatra was arrested in New Jersey for seduction, a charge brought against men who allegedly lied in order to persuade a woman to have sex, and damaging her reputation. His ex-girlfriend accused him of proposing marriage, sleeping with her, and then breaking up with her. But when police discovered she was already married to someone else, they dropped the charge. He was then briefly arrested again for adultery, and after he paid a $500 bond, that charge was also dismissed.
